Thank you, Lance, for taking care of all the timing and the "official" stuff. Thank you Brian for measuring the course for us. Unfortuantely, the only thing we can figure out that happened was that someone moved the turn aound stake for us, and so the course was around 2.6-2.8 miles, instead of 3.1. So, everyone made REALLY good time! Next year we will ensure that it doesn't happen, but we all had a good time anyway! Here's the official results:

This was such a fun race, thank you so much to everyone who came out, braved the cold and ran with us! It was definitely a good start for us, and we sincerely appreciate all of the support. It was so awesome to get a thumbs up or a high five from every runner that passed by on their way back. There were a lot of people who made this a family event and that's what this is about... helping families and I thought it was so appropriate to see everyone come together for such a great cause. Thanks again for making us feel like we're making a difference!
ReplyDeleteHey it took me 52 minutes! I enjoyed all of them but look forward to beating last years pace. Perhaps I can trim a minute or two off if I cut out the restroom break or hot chocolate at the convenience store!
